Who we are

Five A Travel Tours Sdn. Bhd. ("Five A Travel", "we", "us") is a licensed travel agency based at 50, China Street, 10200 George Town, Penang, Malaysia. For any question about your personal data, contact us at info@fiveats.com or 04-261 0642.

What we collect

• Enquiry details — your name, phone number, email, and the trip information you share (destinations, dates, travellers, budget, preferences) when you use our enquiry, tailor-made or flight forms.
• Visa application data — if you use our visa application tool, the personal information required by the relevant embassy (which may include date and place of birth, family details, occupation, and copies of documents such as your passport and IC). See "Visa applications" below for how this is handled.
• Technical data — basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used, to help us improve it.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations and itineraries.
• To arrange the services you ask for — flights, tours, accommodation and visas.
• To contact you about your trip, including via WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To meet legal, licensing and accounting obligations.

We only use your data for the purpose you provided it, or a directly related purpose. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Visa applications — handled on your device

When you use the visa application tool, your answers and uploaded documents are compiled into a PDF in your own browser. That file is downloaded to your device — it is not uploaded to any Five A server. You then choose to send it to us (via WhatsApp or email) to proceed. In other words, you stay in control of your sensitive documents until you decide to share them.

Who we share it with

To deliver your trip we share only the information necessary with the relevant third parties — for example airlines and ticketing systems, hotels and ground operators, and the embassies, consulates or visa processing centres handling your application. These parties use your data to fulfil the service you requested. Some may be located outside Malaysia where your travel takes you; by asking us to arrange such travel you consent to this necessary transfer.

Messaging & enquiry records

Our enquiry forms open a pre-filled message in WhatsApp for you to send. When you send it, your message is delivered through WhatsApp under its own terms. We may also record your enquiry in our internal customer system so our team can follow up and serve you better.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information you entrust to us.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and ask for a copy.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time.
• Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep.

To exercise any of these, contact us at info@fiveats.com. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer arrange a service you have asked for.

Cookies & analytics

We use only essential functionality and privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers.
